Just 6,939 of these LT5 high powered American made sports cars were built by GM in the 6 model year production from 1990 thru 1995. Production numbers were 3,049 in 1990, 2,044 in 1991, 502 in 1992 and 488 in each of the remaing 3 years. TEAM ZR-1 is dedicated to motorsports, racing, and showing & touring of this "King of the Hill" as well as testing, training and exchanging information about the car and the sport. Our main source of communication and exchange of information has been the ZR-1 Net Registry and has provided an essential tool in maintaining a constant flow of information to not only the ZR-1 owner, but CORVETTE owners in general.
The membership is not only made up of owner's of the ZR-1, but also other CORVETTE owners and enthusiasts of the ZR-1 experience. Membership has no boundries here, we are worldwide and and growing in number. This is the "Real" TEAM ZR-1 Motorsports club that is bent on having fun and promoting all aspects of motorsports!
So hang on for the ride, the King of the Hill is all grown up and still as fast as ever!
